Bringing together our love of FileMaker and Xero (we are a Xero approved developer) was always going to be a natural fit for Digital Fusion. We use Xero ourselves and when we come across clients using FileMaker and Xero we get excited—it's a brilliant combination for running a business.
We are now at a point where we can say we are the experts in terms of custom integration for the two pieces of software, with a very robust plugin.
We do need preface this by saying that no two client requirements are the same so although we do have a plugin, it’s not one that we can package up and sell as an ‘out of the box’ product. We do however offer this as a solution offering here at Digital Fusion so if you ever do want to discuss this please get in touch.
This plugin fully automates processes so there's no importing or exporting. That means maximum efficiency and high integrity.
What the plugin does offer is:
We have also had experience in pushing products, collecting payment information for invoices and pushing or pulling payments themselves. At the end of the day linking with Xero allows you to both synchonise transactions and pull out information for reporting.
The plugin provides a simple framework that can be integrated with most FileMaker solutions and expanded to support any feature of Xero available through the API.
As Xero release new features we will continue to explore opportunities for ways we can integrate these with FileMaker.

Could you give indicative costs?
We are Australian based Using FM for invoicing, purchasing inventory and lead tracking
We have around 20,000 clients/suppliers listed and currently process around 1.000 invoices a year ,plus a similar number of purchase orders
We wish to further complicate things by adding E commerce ideally integrated as well
any thoughts or advice welcome
